Backhoe Operations for Public Works

(15 min.) Backhoes are the workhorse of any construction and maintenance department. They perform a wide variety of tasks, they dig, scrape, compact soil, load material, break pavement, lift and with other specialized attachments, and do almost any required task. Since wheeled backhoes are pretty much the construction and maintenance standard, we will concentrate on the safety considerations for this equipment.
